Note to all Dolphin Scuba Club members,

This past week, I received a "Security Advisory" from the Chain of Command at RMC Campus regarding access and use of Navy Bay and surrounding areas. The message stated that un-authorized activities in Navy Bay, such as skating, diving, etc..are dangerous, and therefore strictly prohibited.

After contacting the Major who originated the message, I received confirmation that all Dolphin Scuba Club members in good standing (dues are paid for the season) are authorized to use Navy Bay, the dock and boat launch areas. However, advanced notice must be given to SCC (campus security personnel) prior to any diving activities in the area.

The SCC is a 24/7 operation, and they can be reached on base at local 3652.

I will ask everyone to abide by this rule, so that all club members can benefit from Navy Bay's easy shore entry; thus adding another possible shore dive site for all to enjoy.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions regarding this matter.

Regards,

Kevin LeBlanc
Dolphin Scuba Club President
